Easter fun for littlies and mum!

Easter fun for littlies and mum!

The thumpety thump of bunny paws is nearly upon us! So here's some crafty fun to keep the littlies entertained over the Easter holidays, plus some gorgeously cute little bunnies to use as treats instead of adding further to the mountains of chocolate eggs and dreaded sugar highs!

No Easter is complete without your very own Mr & Mrs Ester Bunny! Early on Easter morning, they deliver their Easter eggs to all the children in Easter Land and are the most popular parents around...you will be too if you treat your little ones to this adorable pair! They love nothing more than reading stories and chatting with the rest of the Ester family, well they do love the odd cup of tea and Easter chocolate too...Mrs Bunny has to keep a close on on Mr Bunny as he's known to sneak a few too many!

We've all heard of fairy kings and fairy queens - but have you heard of bunny royalty? Princess Ester has hippity-hopped all the way to our world just in time for Easter celebrations and is the perfect chocolate-alternative gift for littlies. Her favourite activity is hosting a tea party with carrot cake cupcakes for all her fairy friends.

Follow in Princess Ester’s paw-steps with this delicious cupcake recipe.

Talking of super fun and simple activities for little ones, why not make some decorative inedible Easter eggs out of salt dough!

Here's our step-by-step guide to making salt dough Easter eggs:

  1. Salt dough is super simple to make! Mould the dough into the shape of eggs before popping in the oven to dry. Bake at 150 degree Celsius according to size. Don't forget to make some mini eggs for fairies too!
  2. Once dry, it is decorating time! Paint them in bright patterns, add some glitter, and finish with a silk ribbon.
  3. Here’s the important bit...place your mini eggs next to your fairy door to thank the fairies and Easter bunnies for working hard to make Easter such a treat!

Have a fun-filled Easter and be sure to tag us on Instagram or Facebook with your crafty eggs and yummy cupcake creations!
